Application Management Services (AMS) is where a company outsources ongoing application support tasks to an external provider. An AMS partner can help companies navigate their digital journey and support applications that improve their overall user experience. A partner can help companies with their core mission-critical enterprise applications and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with application development and support, service excellence, global delivery, and improved service levels. These critical applications need to run 24/7 to meet the demands of their business needs and their customers. These applications are complex and diverse, so it can be challenging for companies to provide the necessary expertise at a reasonable price for all of these different applications.
Syntax provides Application Management Services (AMS) for SAP and non-SAP applications. Syntax is the first global provider to hold the AMS certification for SAP S/4HANA. Syntax has three primary support models for AMS. The first model is Syntax’s dedicated model, where Syntax assigns full-time resources to customers, and either the Syntax customer manages them, or Syntax can assist in managing those resources. The second is a shared leveraged model, where Syntax fractionalizes deep consulting expertise for particular applications and shares those resources across Syntax customers to make them more affordable. The third model is a hybrid model where Syntax combines the shared and dedicated models.
